Searching for a great summer dance song? Then look no further-check out Pittsburgh-based Arcade High’s new single, Heat Wave, featuring my little sis Morissa Trunzo. (Only $0.99 on iTunes)! I’ve been jamming out to it the last few days, and each day, I like it more and more!

According to Electronic Rumors, “What Arcade High has served up with Heat Wave, which features a nostalgic, Debbie Gibson-esque vocal turn from Morissa Trunzo) is a classy slice of pure American 80s Pop. This one’s all about the pinprick brightness of the synths. Crisp electronic melodies play against each other in a carefree manner to provide a kinetic instrumental for Trunzo’s euphoric performance.A summer soundtrack if ever there was one, Heat Wave is a buoyant and insouciant tune that invites you along with it, you’d be a fool to say no.” (Read more here).

Synthetix says “the title track features the vocals of Morissa Trunzo and could well be the break-out/crossover song that puts a synthwave artists into the pop charts. Stylistically, Trunzo’s vocals fit alongside current pop stars like Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande who have very direct and solid, musical voices. This in turn works very well to complement the direct pop attack of ‘Heatwave’.” (Read more here).
